Operations
One integrated campus. Cane in, sugar out, by-products to power and ethanol.
Our operating footprint at Village Erai, Tehsil Badoni Khurd, is built so that everything we crush becomes either a saleable product, a co-gen fuel or a soil input. Nothing is wasted.
Sugar
A 2,500 TCD integrated mill at the heart of Datia.
Commissioned in 2018, our crushing operation processes sugarcane sourced from thousands of growers across the Datia catchment into plantation white sugar. The mill runs through the traditional crushing season under tight regulatory oversight from the state cane commissioner and the Sugar Directorate.
Cane is paid for under a combination of the centrally-notified Fair & Remunerative Price (FRP) and the State Advised Price (SAP), with recovery-linked bonuses and statutory deductions reconciled and disbursed to farmer accounts.

Plantation white sugar
The primary product of the mill — manufactured from sugarcane sourced from growers across the Datia catchment.
Molasses
A high-value by-product that becomes the feedstock for the distillery — closing the loop between cane and ethanol.
Press-mud
Returned to farmers as a soil conditioner — turning a processing residue into an input that improves cane yield.
Bagasse
The fibrous residue that fires our 3 MW co-generation plant — powering the mill year-round during the season.
Captive power
3 MW
Bagasse-fired co-generation
- ▸ Fuel: 100% bagasse generated on-site
- ▸ Powers crushing, boiling and refining year-round during season
- ▸ Closes the loop on fibre residue — zero open burning
Power
A captive plant that runs on the fibre we already crush.
Our 3 MW co-generation unit converts the bagasse from the crushing line into the electricity that powers the mill itself — meaning the energy intensity of every kilogram of sugar we ship is overwhelmingly carried by renewable, on-site biomass.
In addition to mill power, the co-gen footprint underwrites the steam load for distillation as our ethanol capacity comes online — improving overall thermal efficiency across the campus.
Distillery
Building a 200 KLPD distillery — and stepping into India’s ethanol economy.
We hold in-principle approval from the Department of Food & Public Distribution, Government of India, for establishing a distillery of 200 KLPD capacity. The unit is being built in phases as part of our participation in the Ethanol Blended Petrol (EBP) programme administered by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
The distillery will draw on molasses from our own crushing line — a structural integration that converts a by-product into a primary revenue stream and locks in a foundational ethanol supply position with Oil Marketing Companies.
